ELIZABETH LADO, 81



BROOKFIELD -- Private services will be Friday at John Flynn Funeral Home, Hermitage, for Elizabeth Lado, 81, of 377 Golf Drive, who died Tuesday night at Orange Village Care Center in Masury after a long illness.
Mrs. Lado was born Oct. 11, 1919, in Coal Run, Pa., a daughter of Victor and Mary Bodolai Pomper.
She had attended Sharpsville Schools, was a homemaker, and had been a part-time sales clerk for Kaufmann's in Sharon and Hermitage. She was a Catholic and played in many card clubs in the Shenango Valley.
Her husband, Peter, whom she married Sept. 28, 1940, died in May 1972.
She leaves two daughters, Carole Zeock of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Linda Lado of Fayetteville, N.C.; two sisters, Mary Billak and Olga Heikkinen, both of Brookfield; a brother, Elmer Pomper of Sharpsville; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A daughter, Mary Elizabeth Lado, and a brother, Victor Pomper, are deceased.
Visitation will be private. Contributions may be made to Buhl Park.
