SHARON, Pa. -- Services will be at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and at 11:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Farrell, for R. Marilyn Ciprich, 65, of 663 S. Oakland Ave., who died late Saturday in Sharon Regional Health System after a long illness.
Mrs. Ciprich was born Sept. 1, 1935, in Sharon, a daughter of Albert and Elizabeth Hollup Hercegh. A 1953 graduate of Sharon High School, she had been an administrative secretary for the Mercer County Regional Planning Commission from 1961-2000, and had also been a secretary for three years for Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp.
She was a member of the church and enjoyed gardening.
Her husband, Stephen J. Sr., whom she married Aug. 28, 1954, died Oct. 11, 1991.
She leaves a daughter, Catherine Bogner of Raleigh, N.C.; a son, Stephen J. Jr. of Hermitage; a sister, Helen Paterchok of Sharon; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to the church at 1132 Fruit Ave., Farrell.
