MARY C. PITONYAK, 85



MASURY -- Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Bernadette Church for Mary C. Pitonyak, 85, of 7813 First St., who died Saturday evening in Sharon Regional Health System after a long illness.
Mrs. Pitonyak was born July 28, 1915, in Hubbard, a daughter of John and Anna Vogt Knapik.
She was department manager of housewares for Valley View Department Store in Brookfield for 19 years.
She was a member of the church, its Altar & amp; Rosary Society and the ladies prayer group.
Her husband, Stephen D., whom she married in June 1941, died Oct. 19, 1973.
She leaves a son, Donald of Masury; three sisters, Helen Rusbacky and Pauline Kalman, both of Hubbard, and Mildred Kudelko of Sharon; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Two sisters, Ann Choppa and Margaret Lawrence, two brothers, Joseph and John Knapik, and a great-granddaughter are deceased.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Madasz Funeral Home, Brookfield.
