FRANK CHESONIES, 73

LEAVITTSBURG -- Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Pine Knoll Cemetery for Frank Chesonies, 73, of 5271 Burnett Road, who died of a heart attack Sunday afternoon in Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Chesonies was born April 13, 1927, in Pennsylvania, a son of Frank and Anna Stononis Chesonies, coming to this area in 1950. He had previously lived in Sagamore, Pa. He was an inspector at American Welding Co. in Niles, where he was employed for 331/2 years, before retiring in 1983. A World War II Army veteran, he was a former member of the American Legion.
Besides his wife, the former Barbara J. Shank, whom he married Jan. 31, 1953, he leaves two daughters, Barbara DeMattio of Howland and Mary Chesonies of Warren; a sister, Marcella Prusasky of Sagamore; and two grandchildren.
Two half-sisters are deceased.
There are no calling hours. Hall Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
