WARREN -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Champion Presbyterian Church for Ethel R. Kitchin, 87, of 4840 Hiram Ave., N.W., who died Monday morning in her home after a short illness.
Mrs. Kitchin was born March 3, 1914, in Mineral Bluff, Ga., a daughter of Benjamin and Hattie Ward Ray, and lived in North Carolina before coming to the Warren area in 1943. She was a homemaker and a member of the church and the Champion VIPs. She made crafts.
Besides her husband, Julius H., whom she married Aug. 25, 1931, she leaves two daughters, Hilda Middleton and Linda Haines, both of Champion; a son, Edward of Southington; a brother, Bill Ray of Sylva, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
A daughter, Sheila Thompson, is deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home and one hour before services in the church.
Contributions may be made to the church or Hospice of Northeast Ohio.
