RECALL Xanadu candles

What: About 2.8 million candles made by Xanadu Candle Co.
Reason: The candles can burn with a high flame, posing a fire and burn hazard to consumers. There have been seven reports of consumers' suffering minor burns when the candles burned with high flames.
Description: The candles, sold in glass containers, have labels on the bottom reading "Nature's Preserves," "Home Fragrance Filled" or "Spring Hydrangea." The "Nature's Preserves" candles came in 16-ounce canning jars or 10-ounce round containers. The "Home Fragrance" candles were sold in lemonade or sherbet glasses or champagne flutes. The "Spring Hydrangea" candles were sold in round containers filled with imitation flowers.
Sold from: June 1999 through January 2001 at Bath & amp; Body Works and The White Barn Candle Co. stores nationwide for between $15 and $25.
What to do: Stop using these candles immediately and return them to the place of purchase for a store credit plus a $5 coupon or for a cash refund. For more information, call (800) 395-1001.
