MARY B. FURMAN, 84



AUSTINTOWN -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. John's Lutheran Church for Mary B. Furman, 84, of 27 Placid Blvd., who died Saturday afternoon at home after a long illness.
Mrs. Furman was born Aug. 7, 1916, in Campbell, a daughter of Zacharie and Rebecca Constantine Barbb.
She was a registered nurse for Forum Health Northside Medical Center and for Dr. Steinberg, before retiring in 1984. She worked for 40 years.
She was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and Cleveland Metropolitan School of Nursing.
She was a member of the church and its Tuesday Prayer Group, Senior Citizens of Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church and its Ladies Auxiliary. She also was a member of Disabled American Veterans and was a 50-year member of Eastern Star.
Besides her husband, Cyril, whom she married July 19, 1945, she leaves her twin sister, Jennie Repasky of Campbell, and her sister, Vicki Tarolla of Campbell.
A son, Dennis, and a brother, Zack Barbb, are deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be at 7 p.m.
