The township is gearing up for a season of activities at the community's Church Hill and Center parks:
May 5: Moonlight baseball game at 9:30 p.m., Center.May 7: Liberty Township Baseball Association opens season, Center.May 12: Community yard sale, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Center.May 25-27: Girls' fast-pitch tournament, Center.June-August: "Music in the Park" at 6:30 p.m., Wednesdays, Church Hill.June-August: "Rock the Park," live music from 8 to 11 p.m., Fridays, Church Hill.Oct. 7: "Fall Fest" beginning at 10 a.m., Church Hill.October: "Little Ghost and Goblin Gathering" at Church Hill. Date to be announced.
