EVELYN BIGGINS, 86

NILES -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sibley-Murray Funeral Home for Evelyn Biggins, 86, of 404 Grant St., who died Saturday morning in Glenview Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Biggins was born July 19, 1914, in Bristol, Va., son of William and Anna Wright Jones. She had lived in New York for 22 years. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Covenant Baptist Church of New York and a former member of Valley Baptist Church of Niles, where she was church secretary and sang in the choir. She enjoyed reading, cooking and sewing.
Her husband, Leroy, died in 1944.
She leaves a sister, Rose Farrow of Charleston, W.V.; and her niece and guardian, Fairy Coleman of Niles.
A sister, Mary Simms, is deceased.
Friends may call an hour before the services Wednesday in the funeral home.
