WILLIAM L. HEDRICK, 81



WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Stevenson Funeral Home, Sharon, for William L. Hedrick, 81, of 175 Mitchell Road, who died Thursday evening in Sharon Regional Health System.
Mr. Hedrick was born May 10, 1919, in Sharon, a son of Lewis and Madaline Shaffer Hedrick. He worked at Sharon Steel Corp. for 37 years, retiring as a roll shop superintendent in 1977. He previously worked in its restaurant for two years.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Sharon and its men's group. He also was a member of Sharon Masonic Lodge 250, member and past monarch of El Bika Grotto, and member of United Commercial Travelers 589. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing.
Besides his wife, the former Lucile Fuller, whom he married Feb. 10, 1943, he leaves a daughter, Linda Niles of Las Vegas; a son, Earl R. of Chatham, Va.; a sister, Virginia McCartney of Largo, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
Four brothers, Earl, Stanley, Raymond and Wayne, and a sister, Thelma Hedrick, are deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where the Masons will have a service at 8:45 p.m.
