KENNETH R. NOVAK, 67



CAMPBELL -- Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Wasko Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in St. John Slovak Catholic Church for Kenneth R. Novak, 67, of 136 Gertrude St., who died of cancer Saturday afternoon at home.
Mr. Novak was born Nov. 2, 1933, in Campbell, a son of Andrew J. and Katherine Skorich Novak. He worked for LTV Steel for 33 years and retired as a roll turner in the seamless plant. He also was a warehouse clerk for Granger Industrial Supply for 14 years and was a sales clerk for Ski Limited for 10 years. He was an Air Force veteran, serving in Japan as a radio and radar repair person. He was a member of the church.
He was a 1951 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and received an associate degree in engineering from Youngstown State University.
Besides his mother, of Campbell, he leaves his wife, the former Joanne Urichich, whom he married June 23, 1956; two daughters, Kimberly Gorbet of Newton Falls and Natalie Novak of Houston, Texas; and a grandson.
A brother, Melvin, is deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where a prayer service will be at 4:45 p.m.
