KATHERINE COWAN, 90

NEGLEY -- Katherine Cowan, 90, of 9365 South Yuma Trail, died at noon Friday in East Liverpool City Hospital, where she had been a patient for three days.
Mrs. Cowan was born May 9, 1910, in Bessemer, Pa., a daughter of Michael and Anna Youras Yager. She had lived in the Rogers-Negley area for 60 years.
Her husband, William O., whom she married July 30, 1935, died Feb. 10, 1988.
She leaves a daughter, Michael Cowan of Leetonia; two sisters, Elizabeth Fisher of Salem and Helen M. Major of Tampa Fla.; two grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Three sisters and seven brothers are deceased.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in East Carmel Cemetery Chapel.
Arrangements are by Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home in Columbiana.
