WARREN -- SCOPE Warren Senior Center, 220 W. Market St., and the University of Akron will conduct a research study at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the center on the risk factors related to elder suicide. Participants will answer a series of questions designed to assess facets of life experiences. The survey takes between one and two hours to complete. Participants must be 65 and older and will be paid $20 each.
Equine auction
ASHLAND -- The Northeastern Ohio Arabian Horse Association Inc. will sponsor the Expo All Breed Auction on March 31 at the Ashland Fairgrounds. A tack auction will be at 10 a.m., followed by the horse auction. A silent auction benefiting the NEOAHA Futurity will be held Sept. 29 at the Randolph Fall Classic in Randolph. Benefit for MDA
AUSTINTOWN -- The children of Austintown Daycare, 538 Canfield-Niles Road, will participate in a Hop-a-Thon on Tuesday to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
