Disabilities meeting
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Ohio Statewide Independent Living Council will have a meeting from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday in the Gallery Room of Kilcawley Center at Youngstown State University.
The group is conducting a series of town meetings across the state to discuss the concerns and priorities of people with disabilities.

Electric deregulation
STRUTHERS -- State Rep. Sylvester Patton, of Youngstown, D-64th, will lead a discussion on electric deregulation at 7 p.m. Thursday in Struthers Middle School Auditorium.
Representatives of the following agencies and companies are expected to attend:
Ohio Consumers Council, the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, First Energy and Dominion East Ohio Gas.
