BERTHA L. KONNERTH, 84



SALEM -- Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Grandview Cemetery Chapel for Bertha L. Konnerth, 84, of 1985 E. Pershing St., who died Saturday morning in Salem Convalescent Center after a long illness.
Mrs. Konnerth was born April 21, 1916, in Salem, a daughter of Joseph C. and Bertha L. Gerger Gross. She was a clerk and seamstress for Hansell's Store and worked in Konnerth's Jewelry Store, which her husband owned. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Saxon Lodge Branch 18 and Saxon Retirees.
Her husband, Edward, whom she married Feb. 24, 1944, died Nov. 5, 1992.
She leaves a son, Richard of Salem.
A son, Edward D. Jr.; two brothers, Max and Joseph Gross; and a sister, Wilhemina Murphy, are deceased, and two sons died in infancy.
There are no calling hours. Contributions may be made to the church memorial fund, 251 South Broadway, Salem 44460, or the Convalescent Center Recreational Dept., 1985 E. Pershing St., Salem 44460.
