Titan Equestrian team hosts annual horse show Sunday



NEW WILMINGTON -- The Westminster College Equestrian Team will play host to its Annual Spring Intercollegiate Horse Show Sunday at 9 a.m. at Little Neshannock Stables.
The field will consist of 16 college and university teams which will compete in the Hunt Seat style of riding.
Jumping events will be held during the morning session, while flat classes are slated in the afternoon.

Other teams: Schools entered are West Virginia, Bucknell, California (Pa.), Dickinson, Duquesne, Edinboro, Gettysburg, Indiana (Pa.), Juniata, Penn State, Penn State-Fayette, Pitt, Seton Hill, Slippery Rock, West Virginia and Wilson College.
Westminster is coached by Mary McKinley of New Wilmington and has 20 team members. The team uses Little Neshannock Stables as its practice site. Westminster also plays host to a Fall Intercollegiate Horse Show in October at Little Neshannock Stables, and also vies at other collegiate meets during the spring and fall seasons.
