SALEM -- Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Stark Memorial Funeral Home for Brett A. Spooner, 49, of 2168 Southeast Blvd., who died of an embolism Friday morning in Salem Community Hospital.
Mr. Spooner, also known as "Buzz," was born Dec. 13, 1951, in Salem, a son of Dale E. and Agnes Voros Spooner.
He worked for General Motors in Lordstown for 26 years and was a member of First Christian Church. He was a 1969 graduate of Salem High School.
He leaves a son, Ian of Salem; a sister, Susan Eakin of Lisbon; and a stepbrother, Robert Hutcheson II of Salem.
His stepfather, Robert Hutcheson, is deceased.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
