WARREN -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home for William Fletcher Jarrette Jr., 37, of 2314 Burton St. S.E., who died of a gunshot wound to the neck Sunday morning outside of his residence. The Trumbull County Coroner ruled his death a homicide.
Mr. Jarrette was born May 14, 1963, in Warren, a son of William F. Sr. and Hattie F. Barrow Jarrette, and was a lifelong area resident.
He worked for Ultimate Maintenance for two years and was a dietary assistant and storeroom clerk for Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital for five years. He was a member of Progressive Baptist Church and was a 1981 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School.
Besides his parents of Warren, he leaves a son, William F. III of Warren; a daughter, Marketta M. Gunther of Warren; two brothers, Timothy D. and John L., both of Warren; a grandmother, Simmie V. Barrow of Warren; a grandchild; and his companion, Jill Jones at home.
Grandparents Lucious Barrow and Mr. and Mrs. John Jarrette are deceased.
Friends may call one hour before the service at the funeral home.
