Youngstown's park board approved these items Thursday:
A $30,000 contract for Thomas Ciminelli to be the golf course manager from March 1 to Nov. 30.
An $8,400 contract for Ronald Cornell Faniro Architects to do the design and engineering for projects at Homestead, MVSD, Borts and Johnson parks.
A 20 percent match, $9,073, to go with a grant through the Mahoning County Solid Waste Management Division to pave the Ipe Field parking lot. The project will cost $45,365.
Seeking proposals for architectural and engineering services to do $498,000 in projects at seven parks.
