FRANK R. LUCIDO Sr., 79



LOWELLVILLE -- Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, and 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, Lowellville, for Frank R. Lucido Sr., 79, of 345 E. Wood St., who died Thursday morning at home.
Mr. Lucido was born Feb. 15, 1922, in Lowellville, a son of Angelo and Nerina Martino Lucido, and was a lifelong area resident.
He was a bar mill roller for Republic Steel Corp. for 42 years before retiring in 1983, and had been the caretaker for Holy Rosary Cemetery for many years.
He was a member of the church and its Men's Club and served as an usher. He also was a member of AARP and was an Army veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific Theater with the 33rd Infantry Division.
Besides his wife, the former Mary Rosich, whom he married Jan. 24, 1942, he leaves a daughter, Carol Noufer of Lowellville; two sons, Frank Jr. of Lowellville and Dan at home; a sister, Rose Turner of Fort Myers, Fla.; two brothers, James of Lowellville and Angelo of Struthers; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Marie Lewis; two sisters, Geraldine Lucido and Lucy Mularchik; and two brothers, Armand and Tony Lucido, are deceased.
