ALMA E. KALIN, 88



COLUMBIANA -- Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in First Christian Church of Columbiana for Alma E. Kalin, 88, of 700 Lipply Road, formerly of Boardman, who died of infirmities Wednesday afternoon in Salem Community Hospital, where she had been a patient for five days.
Mrs. Kalin was born March 2, 1913, in Chester, W.Va., a daughter of Charles and Dora Huff Allison Milby.
A graduate of Chester High School, Chester, W. Va., she was operations manager at the American Paper Products plant in Boardman, where she worked 50 years before retiring in 1978. She was a member of the church.
Her husband, John, whom she married March 29, 1941, died May 25, 1976.
She leaves her caregiver, Paul Swantek, with whom she made her home for the past 12 years, and several nieces and nephews.
A half-brother, Homer T. Allison, is deceased.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Seederly-Mong & amp; Beck Funeral Home, North Lima, and one hour before the service Saturday in the church.
