Summary of police activity:
March 13
Criminal damage: About $100 in graffiti damage was reported by West Side & amp; Shed, 4900 Market St.
Theft: The soft top of a Jeep was broken in the 4000 block of Southern Boulevard; an Alpine CD player, two Kappa speakers, two speaker boxes, an amplifier, sunglasses, 10 CDs and work tools were stolen.
March 14
Theft: Two tires were stolen from the bed of a pickup truck in the 1000 block of Doral Drive.
Theft: A tool box containing $334 worth of tools was stolen from the garage of a residence in the 6000 block of Lundy Lane.
Theft: Police arrested two Youngstown boys, ages 14 and 16, at Wal-Mart on charges of stealing a $40 car stereo.
Theft: A stereo system and CDs were stolen from a vehicle at Club South, 7120 Tiffany Blvd.
Theft: The driver of a 1991 Buick Century reportedly pumped $15 of gas at the Shell Station on East Western Reserve Road and left without paying.
March 15
Auto damage: The paint on a vehicle was damaged in a parking lot in the 6000 block of Applecrest Circle.
Arrest: Police arrested a 33-year-old Youngstown woman at Wal-Mart on charges of stealing an Ohio driver's license and a credit card.
March 16
Criminal damage: Graffiti was painted on the Cliffwood Construction building at 4495 Market St.
Theft: A man and woman drove off from the Market Street Shell station without paying for $19 in gas.
Auto damage: The brake line was cut on a 1988 Chrysler LeBaron in a lot in the 7000 block of Market Street.
Theft: A man stole a $700 gold box-style necklace from the bedroom of a home in the 7000 block of Spring Park Drive.
Theft: Two Home Savings & amp; Loan checks were taken from a residence in the 100 block of Washington Boulevard.
Criminal damage: Damage to a vacant apartment at 46 Shields Road was estimated at nearly $1,000.
Theft: Twenty-five wooden pallets were stolen from the Tiffany Boulevard Phar-Mor.
Theft: Four cartons of cigarettes were stolen from Marathon gas station on South Avenue.
March 17
Burglary: Suspects caused $80 in damage to a door and window of an apartment in the 5000 block of Southern Boulevard in an attempt to break in.
Theft: A $1,500 pool heater was stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of Machachee Drive.
Theft: A car was broken into through the rear vent window in the 6000 block of Applecrest Drive. Missing are a $125 Nike jacket, a CD player, a cell-phone charger and 36 CDs.
Theft: One hundred CDs were stolen from a car in the 30 block of Southwoods Avenue.
Arrest: A 26-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at Ames on charges of stealing eight pairs of boxer shorts and two Cleveland Indians shirts.
