JAMES D. ALBERTI, 85



YOUNGSTOWN -- Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. April 7 at Fuller Funeral Home, Pine Ridge Road, Naples, Fla., for James D. Alberti, 85, of 1090 Woodshire Lane, Naples, formerly of Hubbard, who died March 15 at his home.
Mr. Naples was born Feb. 20, 1916, in Brooklyn, N.Y., a son of Jerome and Pauline Sugamele Alberti, and was reared by Albert and Pauline DePerro of Hubbard. He was a 1933 graduate of Hubbard High School and was a welding supervisor at Republic Steel Co. for 25 years, until retiring to Florida. He was a member of Quail Run Golf Club and the VFW, and was an Army veteran of World War II serving with the 3rd Armored Division, 83rd Reconnaissance Battalion.
Besides his wife, the former Elisabeth Gay, whom he married June 7, 1945, he leaves a son, David J. of Naples; a daughter, Deborah Tauro of Apollo Beach, Fla.; a brother, Michael DePerro of Girard; three sisters, Eleanor Vivona of Greer, S.C., Stella Moore of Youngstown and Vita Rocco of Hubbard; and a grandson.
A sister, Jennie Giordano, and a brother, Felix DePerro, are deceased.
Friends may call one hour before services at the funeral home.
