ROY W. BOWEN, 60



WARREN -- Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Leavittsburg Church of God for Roy W. Bowen, 60, of 2026 Oak St., formerly of Stow, who died of congestive heart failure early Tuesday at home.
Mr. Bowen was born Oct. 12, 1940, in Akron, a son of Wayne F. and Arles Damselle Crane Bowen, and lived in this area since 1978. He had been disabled.
He was a member of the church, had worked at Fiest Hardwoods Inc. of Newton Falls, and served in the Army.
Besides his wife, the former Debra Roland, whom he married March 14, 1977, he leaves three daughters, Jody M. Carlson and Tonya S. Teufel, both of Akron, and Christina Roland of Warren; a sister, Lois Pine of Cuyahoga Falls; a brother, Herbert G. Bowen in Florida; and a grandchild.
Friends may call for one hour before services in the church.
Arrangements are by Hall Funeral Home, Warren. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
