ROSE J. GERDY, 91

MASURY -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Church, Sharon, for Rose J. Gerdy, 91, of 563 Brookfield Ave., formerly of Sharon, who died Tuesday morning at O'Brien Memorial Nursing Home.
Mrs. Gerdy was born July 17, 1909, in Hungary, a daughter of Nicholas and Rose Gruber Dunch.
She was a homemaker and a member of the church and its bowling league. She also had been a member of Catholic Daughters of America Court 1740 in Sharon and played in several card clubs.
Her husband, Michael L., whom she married Oct. 27, 1934, died Dec. 26, 1991.
She leaves two sons, Larry R. of Hermitage and Richard of Masury; two sisters, Kathryn Shuttleworth of Sharon and Agnes Gilliland of Masury; four brothers, John Dunch of Sharpsville, Nicholas and Louis Dunch, both of Sharon, and Frank Dunch of Hermitage; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A brother, Benjamin Dunch, is deceased.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at A.E. Pustinger Funeral Home in Farrell. Contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels, 396 Buhl Blvd., Sharon 16146.
