DARLINGTON, Pa. -- Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Jacob's United Church of Christ, St. Jacob's-Logtown Road, Salem, for Linda A. Bailey, 55, of 1063 state Route 168, who died of a stroke Monday afternoon in the emergency room of Beaver Medical Center, Beaver, Pa., after becoming ill while having lunch.
Mrs. Bailey was born April 25, 1945, in Delaware, Ohio, a daughter of Harland H. and Alma Lavella Willey Pinney. She had lived in the LaRue, Ashley and Marion, Ohio, areas and in Lockport, Ill., for three years before moving to Darlington.
She was a secretary in the education department at Geneva College and also helped on the Bailey farm south of Salem.
She leaves her father of Ashley, Ohio; her husband, Oliver D., whom she married Sept. 12, 1982; and a brother, Larry Pinney of Marion.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen Funeral Home, Salem, and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the church.
