VERONICA B. BRINCKO, 85
YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Thursday at Kirila Funeral Home, Struthers, and at 10 a.m. in Sts. Cyril & amp; Methodius Church for Veronica B. Brincko, 85, of 2958 Canfield Road, who died Sunday afternoon in Forum Health Northside Medical Center.
Mrs. Brincko was born March 7, 1916, in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Barbara Deri Pletenik.
She worked as a printer with the Chancery Office of the Diocese of Youngstown from 1969 until retiring in 1980. She had worked at the Ravenna Army Ammunition plant during World War II, assembling detonators for artillery shells. She also assembled P-38 fighter aircraft at General Fireproofing, Youngstown.
She was a member of the church, its Infant Jesus of Prague Guild and its Altar & amp; Rosary Society.
Her husband, Andrew Brincko, whom she married Sept. 16, 1950, died Dec. 12, 1959.
She leaves a son, Andrew of Boardman.
Four brothers, Jack, Andrew, Albert and Joseph Pletenik, and two sisters, Betty Legan and Kathy Pletenik, are deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
A prayer service will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
