GREENVILLE, Pa. -- Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at McGonigle Funeral Home, Sharon, for Sandra L. Lightner, 57, of 31 S. High St., formerly of Columbia Avenue, who died of a heart attack Sunday evening at her home.
Mrs. Lightner was born Oct. 25, 1943, in Sharon, a daughter of Peter and Edna Laycock Klein. A 1961 graduate of Hickory High School, she was manager of Pizza Joe's in Greenville, where she worked for more than 10 years.
She attended Shenango Valley Baptist Church in Hermitage and collected porcelain dolls.
Besides her mother of Hermitage, she leaves her husband, Thomas E., whom she married Aug. 14, 2000; three daughters, Jonine M. Borko of Hermitage, Melinda M. Van Sickle of Sheakleyville, and Colleene R. Mercier of Clarks Mills; a son, Shane E. Ricketts of Goldsboro, N.C.; two stepdaughters, Karen Disilvestri and Christine Cooper, both of Hermitage; a stepson, Kenneth Lightner of Sharpsville; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
