RUTH VIRGINIA WHITE, 65



YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Black & amp; Phillips Funeral Home for Ruth Virginia White, 65, of 331 School St., who died last Tuesday in Forum Health Northside Medical Center after a long illness.
Ms. White was born Aug. 4, 1935, in Youngstown, a daughter of William and Hannah Tarver White, and lived in the area all her life.
She graduated in 1954 from South High School. She was a ward clerk for 20 years at Forum Health Northside Medical Center and had also been a beautician. She was a member of St. Andrewes A.M.E. Church and its choir.
She leaves two daughters, Lori White of Youngstown and Carolyn White Jeffries of Sharpsville; a son, Marlin White serving with the Army in Korea; two sisters, Ella Hogan of Cleveland and Rosemary Dent of Youngstown; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A son, Darryl White, and a brother, McClemon White, are deceased.
Friends may call for one hour before the service at the funeral home.
