MARIA BASILE, 76

HOWLAND -- Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Peter Rossi & amp; Son Memorial Chapel and 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Niles, for Maria Basile, 76, of 8411 Old Farm Trail N.E., who died Monday morning at home of cardiopulmonary failure.
Mrs. Basile was born June 4, 1924, in Braidi, Sicily, Italy, a daughter of Gaetano and Anna Maria Vasile Calabro, and moved to Howland in 1959.
She was a homemaker and a member of the church.
She leaves her husband, Rosario, whom she married Feb. 13, 1960; a son, Atty. Andrew R. of Boardman; a daughter, Susan Cunningham of Howland; three sisters, Rosaria Calabro, Carmelina Intelisano and Teresa Santa Lucia, all of Messina, Sicily, Italy; and three grandchildren.
A sister, Vincenza Calabro, is deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
