CORTLAND -- Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at McFarland & amp; Son Funeral Home, Warren, for David D. Blose I, 43, of 171 N. High St., who died of cancer Monday morning at his home.
Mr. Blose, known as "Duck," was born Feb. 17, 1958, in Du Bois, Pa., a son of Robert and Deloris Porrin Blose. He was a shipping and receiving supervisor for Kaufmann's Department Store. He also had worked at Mecca Masonry for 11 years.
He was a 1977 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and a former member of Cortland Moose Lodge.
Besides his parents of Warren, he leaves his wife, the former Thelma Jukes, whom he married April 9, 2000; a daughter, Amber Jean Blose, and a son, David D. II, both at home; two brothers, Rick of Kinsman and Robert of Brockport, Pa.; and two sisters, Brenda Carnes of Johnston and Lori Reline of Warren.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
