ROSALIE O. DIFFORD, 69

FOWLER -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Shafer-Winans & amp; Lamer Funeral Home, Cortland, for Rosalie O. Difford, 69, of 4204 Sodom-Hutchings Road, who died Sunday morning of cancer at Cortland Nursing Center.
Mrs. Difford was born June 22, 1931, in Beverly, W.Va., a daughter of Mr. Rosencranse and Mary Weiss Rosencranse. She lived 32 years in West Farmington, moving to the Cortland area three years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of Southington Christian Church.
She leaves her mother, Mary Weiss Rosencranse Houpt of Warren; her husband, Robert R., whom she married May 30, 1969; six sons, John Church Jr. of Johnston, William Church of Martinsburg, W.Va., Charles R. and Richard L. Church, both of West Farmington, Timothy R. Church of Southington, and Shawn Difford of Chardon; three daughters, Linda Swick of Champion, Barbara Allison of Middlefield and Debra Dale of West Farmington; a stepson, Robert Difford Jr. of Orwell; a stepdaughter, Barbara Church of Warren; a sister, Betty Boger of Warren; 26 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
A granddaughter and a stepson, Gary L. Difford, are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Youngstown 44512-2198.
