LISBON -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Lisbon Baptist Temple for Paul Kent Weber Sr., 57, of 503 North Beaver St., who died, apparently of a heart attack, Saturday morning in Salem Community Hospital.
Mr. Weber was born Sept. 15, 1943, in Lyons Falls, N.Y., a son of Sidney P. and Doris Hubbard Weber, and came to the area in 1968 from New York.
He was an installer/repairman for Ohio Bell for 30 years and retired in July 1999.
He was a member of the church where he was a deacon, choir director and clerk of the church board. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and was a Vietnam War Navy veteran serving three tours in Vietnam. He enjoyed driving and displaying his 1957 Plymouth Savoy.
Besides his wife, the former Rita Brooks, whom he married Oct. 3, 1964, he leaves three daughters, Dawn M. Dunn and Kristy E. Cox, both of Lisbon, and Donna J. Yeager of Leetonia; a son, Paul K. II of West Lafayette, Ohio; three sisters, Bonnie L. Scouten of Lunenburg, Mass., Reba F. Crofoot of Greenwich, N.Y., and Frederica G. Stoudt of Inlet, N.Y.; two brothers, Arnold P. of Lyons Falls, N.Y., and Sidney G. of Guilford Lake; and 14 grandchildren.
A sister, Shirley Sullivan, is deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Eells-Leggett Funeral Home and one hour before the service Wednesday in the church. Contributions may be made to the building fund of the church, 6428 Lisbon Road, Lisbon 44432.
