YOUNGSTOWN Drug raids turn up cocaine; four arrested and charged



YOUNGSTOWN -- Four people were arrested by city vice squad cops and Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority officers Friday night.
Larry Banks, 41, of Otis Street, was charged with aggravated trafficking in cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they recovered 55 bags of cocaine he attempted to flush down a toilet.
Police found seven other bags of cocaine and a crack pipe. There were three children in the house when it was raided.
Boone R. McKinley Jr., 64, of Falls Avenue, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a syringe and crack pipe in his pocket.
At 354 Harvard St., Joseph Nance, 20, of Lansdowne Boulevard, was charged with aggravated trafficking in marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse. Police said they found five bags of marijuana and three pills.
Georgette Davis, 45, of Elm Street, was charged with aggravated trafficking in cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse.
Police said they found seven bags of crack cocaine and two crack pipes. Police said four children were in the house, which was in total disarray. The children were turned over to a relative.
