Virginia Combs, Christopher Ross are engaged

AUSTINTOWN -- Announcement is being made by Terry and Janet Shaw, 6750 Fairview Ave., of the engagement of their daughter, Virginia Katherine Combs, to Christopher Wayne Ross, both of 103 Susan Court, Winchester, Ky.
The prospective groom is a son of Helen and Michael McComber and Thomas Ross, all of Houston.
Invitations will be extended for the couple's wedding to take place at 3:30 p.m. June 9 at The Village Church at the Canfield Fairgrounds and for a reception that evening at The Lockwood House in Boardman.
The bride-elect is a student at Lexington Community College, Lexington, Ky., and is employed as a clerical assistant at American Mining Insurance Co. in Lexington.
Mr. Ross attended Alvin Community College in Houston and is a staff sergeant with the U.S. Marine Corps stationed in Lexington.
