YOUTH TO LEADERS: Damon Woods, a comedian from Chicago, presides over the Mahoning Valley Youth to Leaders conference in Warren Harding High School. At right, Jeanna Cunningham, a Harding senior, was among those speaking from the audience at Saturday's conference. More than 100 young people attended the event, which was sponsored by the Tavis Smiley Foundation based in Los Angeles. Among the speakers were Smiley, who has his own BET network show, Korey Stringer, of the Minnesota Vikings and a Harding graduate, and Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs-Jones. The conference theme was "How Youth Can Make America Better."
