WARREN -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home for Robert R. Villers, 89, of 254 Maryland N.W., who died of a stroke at home Saturday morning.
Mr. Villers was born March 9, 1912, in Fairmont, W.Va., a son of George and Mary Kimble Villers. He lived in this area more than 50 years.
He was a machine operator at Delphi Packard Electric 30 years, retiring in 1977. He was a member of Church of Christ in Cortland, American Legion in Columbus, and graduated from Littleton High School in West Virginia.
He served in the Army during World War II.
His wife, the former Mildred Manes, whom he married April 19, 1947, died Dec. 8.
He leaves a daughter, Lauralee Baughman and two sons, Robert W. and Raymond L., all of Warren; a brother, Russell of McMechen W.Va.; a sister Pauline Higgins of Bridgeport, W.Va., five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Three sisters, Mae Phillips, Anna Cain and Alice Stewart, and two brothers, Earl and Homer, are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
