JOSEPH CHARLES POPP, 81



NILES -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Stephen Church for Joseph Charles Popp, 81, of 127 Ohio Ave., who died Friday evening in Briarfield at Ashley Circle, Austintown, after a long illness.
Mr. Popp was born Feb. 3, 1920, in Niles, a son of Joseph C. and Bertha Buksar Popp.
He was a storeroom clerk for 30 years for RMI Titanium Co., retiring Sept. 30, 1982. He was a 1938 graduate of Niles McKinley High School.
He was a member of the United Steelworkers of America Local 7064, RMI Retirees and the Niles VFW.
He leaves his wife, the former Georgia A. Leeper, whom he married April 23, 1949.
He also leaves a daughter, Linda B. Hamilton of Wilkesboro, N.C.; a brother, Michael of Mineral Ridge, and two grandsons.
Two brothers, Andrew Popp and John Rosko, are deceased.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home.
