Close-Sniderman wedding is set for late May

NEWARK -- Cameron and Kristine Close, 6872 North St., N.E., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Lydia Allison Close, 471 Huger St., Charleston, S.C., to Peter Allen Sniderman, also of the Huger Street address.
Mr. Sniderman is a son of Stephen and Marilyn Sniderman, 2214 Coronado Ave., Youngstown.
The couple will be married at 4:30 p.m. May 27 at Wide Awake Plantation in Charleston, where a reception will follow. Invitations will be extended.
Miss Close holds a bachelor's degree in social work from Ohio University in Athens and a master's in that field from the University of South Carolina. She is a prevention program coordinator with the Charleston County Schools.
The future groom graduated from OU with a bachelor's degree in communications and is vice president of business affairs for Litton Syndications, Sullivan's Island, S.C.
