LILLIAN R. NOVY, 91

NILES -- Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at McClurkin Funeral Home, Girard, for Lillian R. Novy, 91, of Shepherd of the Valley, Niles, who died Thursday at the nursing home.
Mrs. Novy was born May 27, 1909, in Cleveland, a daughter of James and Mary Bilek Jelinek.
She worked for Isaly Dairy for 17 years before retiring in 1965, and had also worked at U. S. Steel Corp. during World War II. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Girard.
Her husband, Frank, whom she married Nov. 28, 1928, died April 29, 1956.
She leaves two daughters, Lillian E. Wagner of Girard and Virginia J. Quinlan of Canfield; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
A son, Kenneth; two brothers, James and Ladimer Jelinek; and two sisters, Ann Hrabak and Mae Kral, are deceased.
Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
