DOMENICA SIMONE, 57 Owned, ran Regal Uniforms of Girard

GIRARD -- Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at McClurkin Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. in St. Rose Church for Domenica Simone, 57, of 432 Parkview Drive, who died of cancer Friday morning at home after a long illness.
Mrs. Simone, known as "Mimi," was born June 14, 1943, in Marana, DiMonte Peale, L'Aquila Abruzzi, Italy, a daughter of Emilio and Agnese DiGiansante Sebastiani, and came to the United States and Youngstown in 1958.
She owned and operated Regal Uniforms of Girard, had also worked for the city of Girard, and was a member of the church.
Among others, she leaves a son, Vincent, and three daughters, Angela Palmer, Tina Kratsas and Silvana Simone, all of Girard; two brothers, Loreto and Danilo Sebastiani, both of Austintown; a sister, Joann Sebastiani Acierno of Canfield; and five grandchildren.
A sister, Sandina Sebastiani, is deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
