TIMOTHY JON SHUGART, 40

WARREN -- Services will be at 8 p.m. Saturday at Shafer-Winans & amp; Lamer Funeral Home, Cortland, for Timothy Jon Shugart, 40, of 1169 Harrison St. N.E., who died of cancer Thursday morning at his parents' home in Cortland.
Mr. Shugart was born Jan. 6, 1961, in Warren, a son of James and Sue Burton Hitmar, and lived in the Orlando, Fla., area for 15 years before returning to the Warren area in 1995. He was a 1979 graduate of Niles-McKinley High School, served in the Navy and was a self-employed wallpaperer and painter. He enjoyed cooking and watching birds and animals.
Besides his parents, he leaves a sister, Deneane M. Shrodek of Niles; and three brothers, Donald E. Shugart of Cortland, James M. Hitmar of Copley and Michael J. Hitmar of Novi, Mich.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
