Lexington workersOK joining union
VIENNA -- Workers at Lexington Connector Seals approved joining the International Union of Electrical Workers Thursday by a vote of 99-90. The company supplies Delphi Packard Electric Systems, which makes wiring harnesses for vehicles and also has workers represented by the IUE. The vote followed a three-month campaign by the IUE, which now represents workers at five companies in Trumbull County.
Job fair for CSCset at Kent campus
CHAMPION -- Trumbull County commissioners and the county's department of Job and Family Services will sponsor a career fair March 23 for employees of CSC Ltd. The free event will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the technology building at Kent State University Trumbull Campus off Mahoning Avenue N.W. CSC in Champion has operated under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection since Jan. 12.
