KATHERINE PIECH, 78

YOUNGSTOWN -- Private services will be later for Katherine Piech, 78, of Panama City Beach, Fla., formerly of Youngstown, who died Monday in Baycrest Nursing and Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Panama City.
Mrs. Piech was born April 8, 1922, in Rzeszow, Poland, a daughter of Jakob and Anna Szura Zembron. She came to Youngstown in 1949 from Chicago and lived here until 1997, when she moved to Florida.
She was a sales clerk in a charitable second-hand store here and was a member of St. Stanislaus Church here.
Her husband of 35 years, Frank, is deceased.
She leaves two sons, Anthony of Panama City Beach and Frank of Olmsted Falls; a sister, Adela Reich of Chicago; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by Southerland Family Funeral Home, Panama City, Fla.
