HARVEY L. BUSH, 88



Salem -- Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia, for Harvey L. Bush, 88, of 6480 West South Range Road, who died Thursday morning at home of complications of a stroke he suffered a year ago.
Mr. Bush was born April 11, 1912, in Greenford, a son of Lewis and Elfie Longenecker Bush, and lived in this area all his life.
He was a sheet-metal mechanic at Aerotech in Boardman for 35 years before retiring in 1974. He was a member of Robbins United Methodist Church, Washingtonville, Sheet Metal Local 33, the Farm Bureau and was an honorary member of York Drexler Post 5532 VFW of Washingtonville. He was an avid raccoon hunter.
He leaves his wife, the former Evelyn Weaver, whom he married Sept. 3, 1938; two daughters, Judy Maretich and Rita Meshula, both of Greenford; three sons, Ronald and Gary, both of Greenford, and Fred of Poland; a sister, Ethel Packey of Canton; a brother, Robert of Dundin, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Three sisters, Florence Weikart, Annie Kelly and Bertha Bradley, and two brothers, Walter and Fred, are deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
