GEORGE D. WHEELER, 72



PULASKI, Pa. -- There are no services or calling hours for George D. Wheeler, 72, of 218 Beachwood Blvd., who died Wednesday evening in St. Francis Hospital, New Castle.
Mr. Wheeler was born July 5, 1928, in Cleveland, a son of George H. and Ruth Burnside Wheeler. He delivered the Pittsburgh Post Gazette and was a Structural Ironworker with Local 207.
He was an Army paratrooper during World War II and was a member of the VFW and the Johnson Club.
His wife, the former Karla J. Glass, is deceased.
He leaves a daughter, Sandra L. Watt of New Castle; four sons, Karl J. of Polk, Pa., Donald B. of New Bedford, Larry P. of New Castle and Raymond M. of Pulaski; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A son, Terry L., and an aunt, Alice Burns McCleery, who reared him, are deceased.
Arrangements are by R. Cunningham Funeral Home, New Castle.
