Firefighters Auxiliary has installation

CHAMPION -- Trumbull County Firefighters Auxiliary held installation of officers during a meeting Feb. 21 at Champion Fire Department.
Sue Nagle of Warren Township No. 47 was installed as president. Serving with her are Flo Rehburg of Warren Township No. 48; Kim Bartholomew of Burghill-Vernon No. 19; and Barbara Howard of Johnson.
Brookfield No. 18 received the attendance award.
Trumbull County be the host for the state conference in 2002. Jim Caldwell, Howland, treasurer of Trumbull County Firefighters, and Helen Parker, Warren No. 47, spoke about conference plans. The next meeting on the conference will be Tuesday at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex, Liberty.
The next auxiliary meeting will be Wednesday at Warren Township 48 with Mineral Ridge auxiliary members as the hostesses. There will be a white-elephant auction with proceeds to benefit the nurses scholarship fund.
