Cops: Woman likely died of natural causes

FARRELL -- Authorities say they think a woman found dead in her home earlier this week died of natural causes.
Police said Callie Lynn McNeal, who was believed to be about 50, didn't appear to have any injuries. They said an autopsy revealed she had numerous tumors.
Police said a neighborhood boy who was shoveling snow stopped at McNeal's Walnut Street residence Sunday morning to inquire about clearing her sidewalk. The boy, who had gone into the house, saw McNeal lying on the floor next to a bed. He notified authorities, who said they think the woman had been dead two to three weeks.
Police said McNeal's 70-year-old mother, Beulah McNeal, didn't seem to be aware of what was going on. She is being treated at an area hospital.
