Prokay-Newman wedding plans are announced

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Mrs. Kathleen D. Prokay of Charlotte is announcing the engagement of her daughter, Kecia Kathleen Prokay of Atlanta, and U.S. Army Capt. Dean Scott Newman of Clarksville, Tenn.
Parents of the future groom are Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert P. Newman of Columbiana.
Miss Prokay, also a daughter of the late Robert M. Prokay, graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor's degree in international studies and is a financial analyst with Goldman, Sachs & amp; Co. in Atlanta.
The prospective groom graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., with a bachelor's degree in international political science and is stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky.
The couple will be married Sept. 1 at St. John's Episcopal Church.
