MATTIE C. SCIPPIO, 90

WARREN -- Services will be at noon Friday at Sibley-Murray Funeral Home for Mattie C. Scippio, 90, of 984 Homewood Ave. S.E., who died Saturday night in Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Scippio was born March 10, 1911, in Blakely, Ga., a daughter of Mackie and Marie Phillips Johnson Sr.
She attended Warren City Schools and was a retired waitress and a member of Jeptha Temple 195 Daughters of the Elks. She was a Baptist.
Her husband, Johnnie, died in 1974.
She leaves a brother, Daniel W. Johnson of Warren; and two nieces, Dolores M. Brown of Warren, who was her guardian, and Rose M. Belser of Warren, with whom she made her home.
Three brothers, William, Levi and Mackie Johnson Jr.; and three sisters, Gertrude Jones, Viola Butler and Susie Johnson, are deceased.
Friends may call for one hour before the service Friday at the funeral home.
